Mason Plumlee has agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal to return to the LA Clippers, reports ESPN.
The report claims Plumlee decided to return to Los Angeles despite larger financial offers from elsewhere.
The veteran center averaged career highs in points (12.2 average) and rebounds (9.7) as the starting center for the Charlotte Hornets before moving to the Clippers at the trade deadline – where he excelled in a different role, coming off the bench shooting 87.5 per cent and averaging 8.2 points a game, whilst also showing his chops as a playmaking big man.
