The All England Club has announced this year's total prize money fund as a record £44.7m, with the Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Singles Champions each receiving £2.35m and runners-up £1.175m.

This is up from £40.35m in 2022, with much of the increase benefitting players in the early rounds of the event. Qualifying Competition winnings have increased 14.5%, and first round losers in the Main Draw will receive £55,000, a 10% increase on 2022.

The highest increase has come in the Wheelchair and Quad Wheelchair events, which have all risen by almost 20%.

“We are delighted to offer record prize money to the players competing at The Championships this year, with double digit increases across the majority of events" said Ian Hewitt, All England Club Chairman.

"Our ambition with this distribution is to return the singles champions and runners-up prize money to the levels in 2019 prior to the pandemic whilst, alongside, providing deserved support for players in the early rounds of the event" he added.
