Warriors star Stephen Curry was back on the practice court Tuesday for the first time since tearing two ligaments in his left leg on February 4.

The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player did non-contact work after the Warriors completed practice at UCLA ahead of their Thursday road game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Golden State coach Steve Kerr said of Curry, according to NBC Bay Area: "First time on the court, so he'll do a few things lightly and see where he goes from there."

The Warriors won just two of their last five games ahead of the All-Star break following Curry's injury, with his timetable to return uncertain.

Curry is averaging 29.4 points, 6.4 assists and 6.3 rebounds through 38 games this season. He was selected an All-Star for the ninth time, though he didn't participate in the game on Sunday in Salt Lake City.

The Warriors sit in ninth place in the Western Conference.
