Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has smashed a Champions League record held by Lionel Messi into history.
Mbappe, who scored a goal in the match PSG beat Başakşehir 5-1, managed to become the youngest player to reach 20 goals in the history of the Giants League with 21 years and 355 days. This record was previously held by Barcelona legend Messi with 22 years and 266 days.
Raul Gonzalez with 22 years and 297 days, Alessandro Del Piero with 23 years 157 days and Karim Benzema with 23 years and 282 days, are the other names who have reached the 20 goal threshold at the youngest age in the history of the tournament.
Mbappe scored 14 goals and provided 8 assists in 18 games for PSG this season.
