The NBA announced roster replacements ahead of the 2023 All-Star game on February 19th, as key starters became listed as absentees.
Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Zion Williamson had all been named, and yet none of the trio have been able to fast track their recovery in time for the big clash.
In steps Ja Morant, Joel Embiid and Lauri Markanen.
Both Morant and Embiid were named as big snubs when the teams were first released. There appeared to be no room for them in an already star-studded line-up, but that has since changed.
Anthony Edwards, De'Aaron Fox and Pascal Siakam have also been named as injury understudies.
