With 15 games left in the Los Angeles Lakers' regular season, all eyes are still on LeBron James, and whether he'll recover from his right foot tendon injury in time to be a part of it.
With the 38-year-old having already been side-lined for the best part of two weeks, there's some good news in that he is no longer wearing a walking boot.
Right after he sustained the injury on Feb. 26 in a win over the Dallas Mavericks, James started wearing a walking boot on his injured foot. But he attended the Lakers’ home game on Sunday against the New York Knicks, and the boot was off.
James is scheduled to be re-evaluated at the end of the month, and Lakers fans will want him to a part of the same roster that has won eight of their last 11 games.
Head coach Darvin Ham also said that his recovery is “going according to plan.”
