In the quarter-finals of the Spanish King's Cup, Athletic Bilbao beat Real Madrid 1-0 in the match, leaving them out of the cup.
Alex Berenguer scored the goal that brought the semi-finals to Athletic Bilbao in the 89th minute of the match, the first half of which ended 0-0.
Eliminating Barcelona in the last 16s of the cup, Athletic Bilbao also eliminated Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.
Athletic Bilbao is known as the second team to win the King's Cup with 23 times, after Barcelona (31).
The other semi-finalists of the King's Cup were Valencia, Rayo Vallecano and Real Betis.
