The Champions League final in Istanbul marked the end of the 2022/2023 European football season. It was a gruelling season for all those involved with a packed schedule that saw all leagues take a break for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

According to me, Haaland is not a football player at the Ballon d'Or level. Messi's success is evident. If Haaland were in Messi's place in the Argentina national team, they would have been eliminated in the quarter-finals of the World Cup finals. The Ballon d'Or should be given to Messi, and Haaland should be given Messi's cleats. That would be the best award for him.
