Shifting Seas has a 6 reel setup with up to 117,649 ways to win with the max reel setup and uses the avalanche feature to replace winning combinations with more from above the reels, exactly like Extra Chilli but with more hidden features up her sleeve!Every win and every Boost Shift causes the rightmost reel to disappear and a new reel appears on the left hand side, this happens after every win.
When a Special Wild feature symbol is either part of a win or pushed out of the game area, the corresponding Special Wild feature is activated.
The Boost Shift feature results in an extra reel shift that enables a new reel to be added to the leftmost position of the game area. All symbols in the reel that was previously located in the leftmost position will be copied into this new reel!
The Symbol Rush feature randomly transforms 4-8 symbols on any reel into new identical symbols.
The Wild Surge feature randomly transforms 1-3 symbols on any reel into Wild symbols.
The Wild Symbol substitutes for any other symbol except the scatter symbol.
If a Shift Win pushes the bonus symbol off the reels it triggers the bonus game consisting of 8 Free Spins. The bonus game will start when the Shift Win feature has ended. If the scatter symbol is pushed off the reels during the bonus game you are awarded 4 extra free spins.
During the bonus game, the Wild Reel feature may appear at any reel. Initially it appears at the first reel and after a Shift Win, the Wild Reel feature will move 1 position to the right. The Wild Reel feature follows the movement of the reels and carries a multiplier starting at x1.
If a Shift Win pushes out the Wild Reel feature it reappears on the leftmost reel. This will upgrade the multiplier of the Wild Reel by x1 and award 1 extra free spin.

The paytable in Shifting Seas is dynamic and changes with your stake, the example below is set to £1 per spin for clarity. We start with the 9’s, 10’s and J’s that pay 0.5x for a full way of 6, the Q’s and K’s pay 0.7x and the A’s pay 0.8x respectively.
Moving on to the premium symbols we have the Blue Parrot paying a straight 1x, the Pink Pirate pays 1.2x, the Green Pirate pays 1.4x, the Purple Pirate pays 1.8x and the top symbol being the Treasure Chest pays substantially more at 5x stake for a full way.

Final Thoughts On Shifting Seas
Shifting Seas has an RTP of 96.15%, the volatility is rated high and the maximum win is a nice bounty of 15,000x stake!To sum the game up, I like it and whilst the bonus didn’t want to come in for me the base game gave several wins of around 100x stake which after testing left me roughly where I started, however I can definitely the see the potential as there were a few near miss monster wins!
The graphics and sounds were easily identifiable as Thunderkicks and the game played smoothly with no lag. The music playing in the background had the feel of the Monkey Island franchise from 1990 and as a fan of that game as a young lad I was quite happy to leave it unmuted!
