Week 18 NFL Player Prop Best Bets

Listed below are our favorite player props for Week 18 of the NFL regular season.

Saturday, January 7

Matchup: Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Player Prop: Jaguars WR Zay Jones - Over 52.5 Receiving Yards (-120, BetMGM)

Jacksonville WR Zay Jones Over 52.5 Receiving Yards

Jacksonville wide receiver Zay Jones has had a down last couple of weeks against strong pass defenses in NYJ and Houston, but let's not forget the month prior: from Weeks 10-15 (with a bye in Week 11), Jones averaged 7 catches a game on 10.1 targets for 83.2 yards and had 4 touchdowns. Those are borderline WR1 numbers and he was definitely performing like Jacksonville's WR1 in that timeframe.

During that five-week span, the Jaguars had a matchup against the Titans, and Jones went off for 8 catches on 12 targets for 77 yards and a touchdown, so we know he can perform against this defense again. In the last several weeks, the Titans are giving up 28.5 fantasy points per game to wide receivers lining up on the outside, which is the second-most in the NFL.

Jones lines up outside about 40% of the time, but this is the second-highest number among Jaguars wide receivers so he should see a good amount of snaps against rookie Titans CB Roger McCreary, who has a 108.4 QB rating against and has given up 6 touchdowns this season.

Sunday, January 8

Matchup: Detroit vs. Green Bay (8:15 p.m. ET)
Player Prop: Packers WR Allen Lazard - Over 48.5 Receiving Yards (-115, BetMGM)

Green Bay WR Allen Lazard Over 48.5 Receiving Yards

Green Bay WR Allen Lazard has definitely flown a bit under the radar after starting the season with either 100 yards or a touchdown in his first five games. He's only scored 1 touchdown since, but he's had at least 48 receiving yards in 6/9 games since Week 7, so he's been consistent on that front.

The Packers are home against the Lions in a do-or-die matchup that will see the winner head to the playoffs, unless Seattle beats the Rams earlier in the day and knocks the Lions out of contention. In any case though, Lazard has a clear matchup advantage in this one, as the Lions give up the most fantasy points per game to wide receivers lining up in the slot, which Lazard does 65% of the time.

In this matchup, he should see Mike Hughes lining up across from him in the slot, and Hughes is allowing a 116.7 QBR passing against and has given up 4 touchdowns this season.
