Merricks takes over as Birmingham Women manager​

Amy Merricks has been named as Birmingham Women's new manager.
She has signed a three-year deal, replacing former coach Darren Carter, and links up again with Hope Powell.
The former England coach worked with Merricks at Brighton, where the latter took charge of the club on an interim basis, including after Powell's departure.
Merricks had been England U19s coach between April and November, but left the FA after only a few months.
