Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur Predictions

  • Tottenham have scored in nine of their 10 away league games this season
  • Fulham have scored at least twice in seven of their last 10 home league games
  • Mitrovic has scored in all four London derbies he’s appeared in this term
  • Spurs have conceded at least twice in nine of their last 10 league matches

Tottenham reeling from City defeat

Tottenham blew a 2-0 lead at the Etihad on Thursday night, falling to a 4-2 loss at champions Man City. The visitors have lost their last two games and have suffered three losses in their last five since returning to action after the World Cup.
The visitors could struggle again as they head to surprise European challengers Fulham. The Cottagers have won five of their last six games, including a 2-1 victory over Chelsea in their last home game. They return to Craven Cottage for another London derby and they are a huge threat against a Spurs side who are falling off the top four pace.

Mitro vs Kane

This clash is also a battle between two of the league’s leading scorers, as Aleksandar Mitrovic meets Harry Kane. The pair have scored a combined 26 Premier League goals this term, with Kane returning from the World Cup in solid form despite Spurs’ struggles.
However, it’s Mitro that we’re looking to in this clash as an anytime goalscorer selection. The Serbian has scored in all four of his Premier League London derby matches this season, while he’s found the net six times across eight home league matches. He’s found the net in recent wins over Palace and Leicester after scoring in two of his three games in Qatar, so look to him to strike against Tottenham.

Back goals at the Cottage

Tottenham have conceded the second-highest number of goals from open play in the Premier League, shipping 23 goals already this term. The Cottagers can cut through them in this encounter, as Spurs have conceded at least twice in nine of their last 10 Premier League outings.
Fulham have scored twice in seven of their 10 home games and they should score a couple against a Tottenham side who look vulnerable. However, the visitors are always a threat with Kane and they’ve scored 1.8 goals per away trip in the league this term. They’ve found the net in nine of 10 away trips – with Fulham hitting the same mark at home – so look to both teams to score in this one.
Fulham have won three of their six Premier League London derby matches this season and they meet a Spurs side who have won just four of their 10 away trips this term. The Cottagers have won their last two home matches and they have won five of their last six games, so back them to claim a 2-1 win.
