'Ex-Bayern boss Kovac surprise name under consideration by Liverpool'
Former Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac has emerged as a surprise name under consideration by Liverpool, according to the Daily Mail.The Croatian is available after leaving Wolfsburg earlier this season and it is being claimed Kovac's representatives have been in London recently to sound out Premier League clubs ahead of potential managerial changes this summer.
The 52-year-old won the German Cup with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018 followed by a league and cup double at Bayern before taking charge at Monaco from 2020 to 2022.
Bundesliga clubs are reportedly also considering Kovac as interest mounts.
