Everton vs Arsenal betting offers

Dyche faces baptism of fire with Everton

Sean Dyche was confirmed as Everton manager earlier this week and could hardly have asked for a tougher first game in charge as his team welcome Premier League leaders Arsenal to Goodison Park on Saturday.
A 2-0 defeat to West Ham last time out in the league brought an end to Frank Lampard’s time in charge of the Toffees and former Burnley boss Dyche inherits a side in the midst of a relegation battle.
The loss to the Hammers was Everton’s fourth on the spin in all competitions and they go into their clash with Arsenal with only three wins picked up from 20 league matches.
Dyche, who led Burnley into Europe for the first time in 51 years, is expected to make Everton tougher to break down given his pragmatic managerial approach but it could take time to impose his methods on the club.

Arsenal looking tough to stop

And first up is an Arsenal side who have a five-point advantage over Manchester City at the Premier League summit with a game in hand.
Mikel Arteta’s men have landed two big blows on their rivals recently, beating both Tottenham and Manchester United in the league in January, and they are frontrunners for a shock Premier League title.
Depth will be a concern going forwards for Arsenal fans – they failed with their attempt to land Moises Caicedo at the end of the transfer window before turning attention to Jorginho – and getting knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester City last time out could prove to be a blessing in disguise.
With City to come in the league later in February, Arsenal know this is the kind of game they simply cannot drop points in and a low-scoring victory looks the way to play it.

Do not underestimate defensive strength of Gunners

The Gunners have lost only once in the league all season, conceding only 16 goals in 19 games, and they should be confident of taming a pretty feeble Everton attack.
An Arsenal win to nil could be the way to go and given they have scored at least twice in five of their seven games since returning from the World Cup break, a 2-0 win for Arsenal is our correct score prediction.
Since returning from the season’s hiatus, Arsenal have had to make do without key forward Gabriel Jesus but Eddie Nketiah has done a great job as deputy, scoring against West Ham, Brighton, Oxford and Manchester United and he looks a decent bet to score at anytime.
