Could Newcastle make moves this month?
Eddie Howe says he does not expect Newcastle to be busy during the January transfer window but admits the club's injury concerns may change the outlook.Howe is happy with his squad and has not planned to strengthen it over the next month.
"If we didn't sign anyone, then we didn't sign anybody," said Howe after Newcastle's 0-0 draw with Leeds.
"I love the group and I think we've got a really strong team. We have to guard against injuries. Every player we lose is a hammer blow and it does open up potential weaknesses so we may have to look at how we handle that.
"Jonjo Shelvey and Matt Targett are coming back from injury but neither of them are long-term so we'll soon get them back. There's a lot to take in."
