Cancelo troubles sparks interest from Europe
Joao Cancelo's spell on Manchester City's bench has sparked interest from European clubs, according to the Daily Telegraph.They will reportedly monitor whether the Portugal full-back will be available in the transfer market this summer.
Cancelo was in the PFA team of the year as the best left-back of last season, but he has only started one league game since the World Cup and was taken off at half-time during the win at Chelsea when he returned to the team.
While he has a long-term contract at the Etihad Stadium - which was extended a year ago until 2027 - his situation has been monitored by Champions League clubs in Spain, France, Germany and Italy.
