Brighton vs Everton Predictions

  • Brighton have five clean sheets in their last six at home (W5, D1).
  • Everton have failed to score in two of their last three trips.
  • The Goodison club have drawn blanks in each of their last four away losses.
  • Alexis Mac Allister scored the winner against Manchester United and could be on penalty duties again.

Top four hopefuls face relegation contenders

Brighton overcame Manchester United 1-0 in midweek and they can keep their bid for a top four finish alive by seeing off strugglers Everton on Monday.
Albion are eight points adrift of United in fourth but they do have a game in hand, and they probably need to win all of their remaining games if they are to secure a place in Europe’s top competition.
Everton sit in 19th spot and are a point adrift of safety, with the Goodison Park club winless in seven ahead of Monday’s fixture.

Seagulls can keep Everton quiet

Brighton are the heavy favourites to win so for a bit more value a home win to nil looks a good option for the main bet.
The Seagulls initially struggled for clean sheets under Roberto De Zerbi but they have won their last two without conceding, beating Wolves 6-0 before their 1-0 win over United, and have five clean sheets in their last six at the Amex Stadium.
Everton, who are winless on their travels since October, have drawn a blank in two of their last three away games and have failed to score in each of their last seven away league defeats.

Mac Allister a key threat

A 2-0 win for Brighton is the correct score prediction as Everton have only conceded more than twice in two of their last nine games overall and have conceded exactly twice in six of their last eight away from home, while Brighton score on average 1.9 goals-per-game.
Alexis Mac Allister was the hero against United with a late penalty and is likely to be on spot kick duties again. The Argentine midfielder has nine goals in 29 league games this season and looks a good contender for a goal on Monday.
