Arteta pleased with strength in depth
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says he is pleased with his side's strength in depth after they brushed aside League One opposition Oxford United on Monday evening.But the Gunners have been in pursuit of both Joao Felix and Mykhailo Mudryk in the January window, facing stiff competition from Chelsea for both players.
Arsenal only have one available striker, Eddie Nketiah, with Gabriel Jesus on the long-term injury list, as they attempt to hold on to the Premier League's top spot.
They face Tottenham, Manchester United and Manchester City (FA Cup) in their next three encounters.
"The problem is, we only have one and to cope for that many months until Gabi is back is not easy but we have to get the most out of the players that we have at the moment," Arteta explained.
"If we can have some reinforcements, great."
