Arsenal to turn to Raphinha?
Arsenal sporting director Edu Gaspar has made contact with Raphinha’s agent Deco over a possible January move for the Barcelona forward after Chelsea hijacked their bid for Mykhailo Mudryk, according to the Evening Standard.The Ukraine international was a key target for the Gunners but the 22-year-old will undergo a Chelsea medical in London on Sunday after the Blues agreed an £88.5m deal with Shakhtar Donetsk.
It means Arsenal must now look at alternative options and it is claimed the Premier League leaders are interested in Raphinha, whom they tried to sign last summer.
The Brazilian could reportedly be made available by Barcelona just six months on from joining in a £55m move from Leeds.
